Israel Offered to Abandon Match: World’s Snooker Champ Asif

Faisalabad: World’s Snooker Champion Muhammad Asif revealed that Israel offered a huge amount of money if i abandon a match with Israeli snooker player.

IBSF World Snooker Champ Asif, who became the second Pakistani to win the world’s snooker championship in Bulgaria, told Pakistani News Channel ARY TV that “Israel had approached him with an offer to abandon match.”

The News Channel, however, didn’t provide further information about the match and on whether it was when he played against Israel’s Shachar Ruberg late November.
